  • Hi ! Thank you for you theme it is beautiful and stylish.

    I don’t know why but my 1-2-3-4 buttons on my main page ( related to my posts archives ) doesn’t works ? ( http://www.mariefrancecaron.com ) Do you have any suggestions ? 😮

    Thanks !

  • Hello!
    Really nice theme!
    I have one question for you,
    if I use the “Page no sidebar.php” the content automatically floats to the left. Even though I tried putting it into others divs, and ofcourse floating it to the right just to see if it works.
    It seems as the “Page no sidebar.php” and the “Page left sidebar.php” listens to the same command, because if I change someting, both react.

    If I want my content to be centered in “Page no sidebar.php”, how do I do?
    Thank you so much for your help!

    • can you send me the link of both the pages?

  • Hi,
    First off, thx for the excellent theme (Scylla Lite). I’m having troube breaking the loop. For e.g. i want to use the ‘Featured Posts Widget’ in the sidebar, but despite selecting a category, it keeps outputting the loop of all posts. I would also like to output only posts from one category on the home page, and created a home.php for that reason, but no luck there either.

    Cheers

  • Hi ! Thank you for you theme it is beautiful and stylish.

    please give some more stylish themes.

    Thanks in Advance

  • Dear Towfiq I.,

    Thank you very much for your theme. I use it for the website of a French expatriate community in China. I start the site from scratch and everybody here love your theme.

    We need to tweak it with our logo in background (or in the header ?). But I can’t manage. Sorr y i is my first try with WordPress …

    I followed your comment and add this in stylesheet :

    /*TCL MODIFICATIONS*/
    html body{background-image:url(images/bandeau_site.png) center no-repeat!important;}

    I put the image in the theme folder because It did not work with http link … but it does not work even with link to images folder, even with chmod 705 on the folder and file.

    Please can you sort it out ?

    Thanks a lot for your work !

  • Even modifying skin3.php and fixed option does not work, even if i am able to make the background color in white by putting initial bacground value in comments.

    • Just remove this line from ski3.php file:

      body { background:#33282c!important;}

      and then add the line I suggested earlier in your stylesheet.

  • Thank you it worked actually.

  • Great looking theme but I’m having some problems 🙁

    I’d love to find out how to;

    A: Change the background image and
    B: Replace the ‘title’ logo with an image? I can’t figure it out at all and the suggestions you’ve made for other people don’t seem to work for me, Towfiq,

    Please help!

    • Ok I’ve figured out how to place an image instead of the title text-logo, but I’m still having issues with the background.

      I’ve basically added a background image in place of pattern1 but it’s repeating down the page when I only want it to blend into a colour (background image is top-half of background only)

      Any tips for getting this to work? 🙂

    • whats the line that you added?

    • html body{background-image:url(http://localhost/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/patternd.png) center no-repeat!important;}

      Thanks for your speedy reply by the way, great support.

    • The no-repeat value is already there, it should not repeat.

  • Ok I went back a few steps and simply placed that line at the very bottom of the stylesheet (as you said a few posts back) but it is not changing the background image at all.

    • What skin are you using? Go to Scylla Lite Options and check what skin you are using.

    • It’s the default skin, so #1 I imagine? 🙂

    • Open up skin1.php file and remove these lines:

      /*Background COLOR*/
      body { background:#f4f4f4!important;}

      /*Background Pattern*/
      .pattern{ background:url(/images/.png) repeat!important; }

    • Sorry mate, still not working 🙁 The original patterns are still the background, even with those lines removed and this: html body{background-image:url(http://localhost/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/patternd.png) center no-repeat!important;} – added to the stylesheet, it’s still not working.

    • I just can’t believe how difficult it is to remove the pattern from the background and have your own image there fading into a # colour.

      This theme is superb apart from this, so if I could ever leave you feedback it would be to try and simplify these things for people like me who are a little mentally challenged 🙂

    • hmm… I think I will have to look into it. Let me know when the site is online. I may able to solve the problem then.

      And instead of “background-image:”, try “background:”

  • Brilliant, that last suggestion fixed it!

    Thank you so much for being patient with me, great support – will recommend you for sure.
