  • I got another question.
    Is it possible to remove the ‘stheno’ logo. So I can put my own logo in there in stead?

    • Just upload your own logo in templates\stheno\images folder. the image should be in png format.

    • do you upload this file before you load the template? where you find the directory to load your own logo?

    • Try installing the default theme and let me know. I don’t think it is a stheno related issue.

  • ok. Already installed.

    • Switch back to stheno. See if you are still getting the blank page error. I am not sure what the problem is… yet

  • is there a way to control how many chars are shown in the intro text of the slider? In the demo example it is: “This Web site is powered by Jo…”
    Is it possible to have it bigger?

    • Go to stheno\html\com_content\frontpage and open default_item.php, now find this line:

      item->text) > $limit) {
      echo (substr($this->item->text, 0, $limit)) . '... item->readmore_link) .'">Read More  ';
      }
      else {
      echo $this->item->text;
      }
      ?>

      increase the number 160 to your needs.

  • Hello
    no reply yet to my post ….
    I have put text on the frontpage in default.php – but the box is aligned to the left of the page – please help me to make it center of the slider
    thanks

    • Sorry for the late reply. What language is your joomla installation? Can you post a screenshot?

    • hi – thanks for the reply – there is no option to attach a file to show you the screen shot – but the front page has the slider – and then i deleted the 3 boxes – instead added text to the front page through the default.php file
      Now the text is to the left of the frontpage and i really would like it in the center for my website.
      thanks for any help
