Welcome text – fill with image

Is there a way to fill the welcome text with an image to get rid of all that white space, and just import an image that has the text on it ?

if you are not going to add in any text in the welcome text area.. why not, add the image only under the slider and get rid of the welcome textarea altogether.

Open up index.php and add this:

before this:

Wow, I can’t believe I actually found where to put that piece of code, – worked perfect – thanks.

1.)So when I want to switch that text image out, I just insert the image short link in the same spot in that series of code, and replace it in the index.php ?
2.) the other thing I am getting a lot of feed back on regarding this new site, is the front page fonts in the title and menu heads etc…. this isn’t adjustable without going into the code is it ?

Regardless, this is a great working template, and I thank you for making it available. This is the first website I’ve ever tried to build.
As a photographer I can handle the imaging side of things, but the website stuff would never have been able to come from me, if it wasn’t for your easy to use template. Thanks Again

Hmmm……. I guess that piece of code I inserted put that piece of content above the welcome text box. If what I said above is correct, then I should remove the text box. Can you tell me where to do that ? Thanks

1. yes.
2. yes you will have to modify the css. Let me know if you need help.
3. to remove the welcome textbox, go to Theron theme options page and remove the text inside the welcome textarea field.

Hi ,

Thank you for this theme . I have couple of queries / issues in my site

1) How to resize the site to fit in 80% width of the browser and rest , I will use a backgroun..
2) I am getting a horizontal scroll bar to pull the site right side to view . How to get rid of that , and just have vertical scroll bar . Which file do I alter to fix this width issue . Thank you .
