Last update… It works fine on my mac using firefox but not on my windows using firefox (I don;t mention IE on windows as the slideshow does not even open). Any idea ?

Hi,

I would say version of IE is not the main issue (I am using IE9). It seems I have the problem with most browsers… I have removed the text for the slider hoping this would solve the issue but it has not. When loading with firefox (28.0) on my windows computer I still have the same problem, i.e. I have the pictures sliding and I have the buttons below the pictures just like if the slider was double the size).

At the same time (I will open another topic), not sure this is linked but the localization widget part of the theme (the one showing the google map) seems not working as well.

when you set the slider height to “auto” this behavior is normal if you want to restrcit the slider height you will have to set a height for it from the Slider height options or you can crop your images.

As for the Googlemap issue, did you modify the functions.php file? the issue is caused because the “initmapjs.js” is not being loaded.

wp_enqueue_script(‘asteria_map’,get_template_directory_uri().’/js/initmapjs.js’);

did not solve the issue with map.

can you disable the javascript minification option?

Still not luck… BTW W3 Total cache indicates “could not resolve the minify issue” or something like that… Anyway I disabled the JS but it is still not working…
