I read about “page attributes” in the documentation, but can’t find this part in the “post editor page”. Have I blocked it somehow? I think I need this part, because I want to use a block as a series of blog posts independent from the blog posts on the front page.

on the editor page, click the “Screen options” button from top right and then make sure “Page Attributes” is checked.

No, there is no Page Attributes (there are 9 options to check, from Categories to Author). I am using Asteria Lite 0.7 if that matters.

I guess you are trying to find it while editing a post, this feature is only available for Pages.

I found it, thanks! There is no option to put some posts at the end of the frontpage and other posts as part of the About Me page for instance, is there? I would like to make posts about new products of mine at the end of the frontpage and separate them from different posts about ordinary things I like in the About Me page. If I use the blog template in Page Attributes all my posts end up as part of that page.

I basically want 2 blogs with 2 different subjects on my site. One blog with posts about things I like you will find after clicking on my About Me page. Another blog with posts about my latest products which you can find at the bottom of the frontpage. So every post I write must be attached to just one of the two blogs. Is this possible?

    You can create 2 categories:
    1. blog
    2. products

Now from Asteria options> Frontpage> Frontpage posts select the “product” categories to display only the latest posts from the “products” category on frontpage.

and then create a new page called “Blog” and then assign the blog page template to this page and then select the category for this page from Asteria options> Miscellaneous. select the “blog” category.

Now on your frontpage you will only see the posts that are under “products” category and on blog page you will only see the blog posts.

    Dear Brother,

I am using one of your wordpress theme which name is Asteria Lite 0.7.
It’s really cool theme and i like it very much . But the problem i am facing that i wanted to create three blog page, for your better understanding i am giving you an example:-
    Our Projects
    — Up Coming Projects ( blog page-1 )
    — Current Projects ( blog page-2)
    — Running Projects ( blog page-3 )

I’ve tried the page attribute option and Miscellaneous settings to make it. But all the post goes under one Page like either Upcoming projects/ Running Projects. In Miscellaneous settings I am not able to add more than one category for blog page setup.

Would you tell me how can i overcome this situations.

Note That, I am newbie in wordpress. I am trying my best to learn it.

I will be glad if you reply me .

    Best Regards
    Nazmul Hassan
