Jetpack and Carousel

    With the Jetpack plugin and the Carousel option, I am trying to add a Carousel gallery to one of my pages. With this theme, is the Carousel option not compatible? It is not showing up for me or allowing me to use it. How can I fix that?

    I have Jetpack installed and the Carousel package activated.

    Carousel

    When I go to use that in a page however, I don’t see that option in the gallery settings.

    No slideshow

    It ends up looking like this on the page:

    Whereas on a different WordPress site I have where Jetpack and Carousel work, I see the option for a slideshow in the gallery settings.

    And it comes out looking like this on the post:

    It looks like my photos and links didn’t show up in my last post.

    Basically, on the page where carousel works, in gallery settings I have:

    link to: none
    random order: checkbox
    type: This is where the option to choose slideshow comes up.

    On the page where it doesn’t work the only options in gallery settings that I have are:

    link to: none
    random order: checkbox
    columns: number of columns to display images in (no option for slideshow here)

    hmm. it should work. I dont see any javascript errors anywhere. Are you sure you setup the gallery correctly?

    I got to Add Media, create gallery, select the photos I want, create new gallery, and that’s when I don’t see the option to make it a slideshow. I’m not sure what other way I could try to setup a gallery?

    I just compared the outputed code of both the pages and looks like the page where its not working, the slideshow is not fully incorporated. is there any other settings you need to enable/disable to setup the slideshow? and can you switch to default theme and see if it works?

    can you ask the jetpack developers about this? they might be able to help.
