Hi, firstly – what a fantastic theme! Thank you!
I’m finding it’s really easy to navigate even though I’m a novice and it looks great.
I’m not sure if there’s a setting I’ve missed somewhere but I’m finding the theme’s perfect on a mobile but the picture format and sizing on a desktop keeps stretching and hiding under the welcome text, I’ve tried looking at it on internet explorer and firefox with same results, I’ve also tried scaling the images ensuring the height of the images are 500px, if tried switching off the fixed width’s but it doesn’t change the display and it takes away the white box behind the latest post boxes and expands them…….. I’m not sure what I’ve missed. Please can you help?
    Many thanks, Vic.

    So what is the setting?

OK, let me start with AWESOME THEME! I love it! I’m a photographer and videographer (when I’m not running moonshine), and working through my own site. You’ve been a great help.

Can you briefly explain the settings that Vicki is using to get the site they have? Is it the Pro version? I have no problem purchasing that, it’s the time to work through how posts are grabbed, where they located the “Beauty” gallery (if in fact that is what they are using), how did they get a page with left side links and pull a post. Also, is there a way to restrict the site width? Having issues with sizing the slider photos correctly.

I know this may be too much to ask, but just let me know what I have to do and I’ll put in the money and time. I appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Sean

He is using the lite version.

Make sure all the slider images have same width and height.

and what do you mean by left side links?
and are you trying to display posts on frontpage?

    Hi Towfig,
Thanks for the quick response. I tried to add to my post last night, but apparently had too much to say. 🙂 I’ve figured out everything except the image size for slider images. Same width and height just cuts off the image or pixelates it. You can see the examples I’ve left on the site at 358studios.com

Across platforms I get varying results. For example, on the desktop (2014 iMac), images that work well cause the slider title to be 2″ below the photo on an iPad. Is across platforms just asking for too much? What size do you recommend for slider images. I saw the 1200 for fixed and 1600 for full in your documentation, but that isn’t working well. Any other thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Sean

make sure all the images have same width and height. height should be same for all the images too.

    Hi,
I must be doing something wrong. Even when I size the image 1600×1600 all that happens is it cuts the lower 2/3 of the image off. There’s an example on my site now. 358studios.com. Sorry for belaboring this… thanks for the help.
    Thanks,
    Sean

each of your slider images have different width and height.
    1st one is 1600 x 1600
    2nd one is 500 x 500
    3rd one is 1600 x 560
    4th on is 500 x 500

please make sure they all have 1600 x 560px

    Hi Towfig,
Sorry for the confusion. That was the number I was looking for. The different slider image sizes was done on purpose to help explain my disjointed explanation. I appreciate your help and your patience. On another note, I’ll be purchasing the Pro this weekend. Thanks again for a great looking theme and for your help.
