featured image resolution

    the featured image on the home page seems to be losing resolution. i am setting the post image in full size as the featured image (500px +) but still its getting pixelated on the home page

    any suggestions ?

    all your thumbnail images are have the width of less than 250px. make sure they have atleast 250px of width.

    while im setting the featured image on the post page im selecting the highest resolution version which is greater than 250 px … can you tell me if im missing something in the steps on how to set the featured image

    i brought down the width of the images on home page layout to 210px and now they are looking slightly better. so what you said about the image resolution being lower than 250 is correct. but im not able to figure how to set them up to be higher

    open up layout1.php and replace this line:

    <?php the_post_thumbnail('medium'); ?>

    with:

    <?php the_post_thumbnail('large'); ?>
