Hi, I have created a small site which an be found under http://werkkreativstatt.de.
I also used the contact template und provided an email address in the template settings. Whenever I use the form, I receive the flowing error message: Message was not sent. Try Again.
Something seems to be wrong with the mail settings, but I don’t have any idea what it could be. The site is configured to use php mail () which works fine, when I let the site send a mail via my mail configuration plugin.
Only the contact form does not wok. I also contacted my webhoster, but maybe you have an idea. I would really appreciate your help.
Hi, solved to problem on my own by editing the contact form template. By default it wants to use the wp_mail function, which somehow does not work for me.
By changing wp_mail to mail, I forced the template to use th PHP mail () function which does the job.
Any known updates here? I am using your contact template and get a successfully sent message but it never arrives…anything I can turn on to see what the variables are set to to track down what’s going wrong?
my previous assumption was wrong. it should work. if it doesnt, ask your host whether they have disabled the php send mail or something…
