Initial Release

1. How Do I add content to the slider?

A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:

A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:

pause: 2000,

To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.

Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-filemanager/

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?

A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.

4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?

A: 450px x 230px

The theme is released under GNU General Public License, version 2.

  • Hey dude, great work.

Though i gotta say, as others have mentioned, it’d be really great to be able to have a logo at the top instead of the text. I have a nice logo image thats png that’d look sick and just make the whole look pop that little bit extra.

if the text can be put there, isnt there a way to just kinda redirect the code to a png file in the /images folder or something? doesnt need any other java sort of effects or anything…

sorry if i sound a bit odd, i understand a bit of coding, just cant go and write it from scratch…

  • This is a great theme. Just wish I could pop in my own header image.

@Lps, How did you do it?
I’ve been messing around with some css header stuff and I haven’t been able to see it. maybe I’m tired or blind.
I did however figure out how to change the text in that spot 🙂

  • yeah @Lps, HOW DID YOU DO IT???? 🙂 HIT US UP!

  • Props on the theme. Looks great!

    One frustrating problem…

My Post will show up in the slider, but the image will not. Any insight?

  • @Kelley- Post your site link, let me take a look at it.

  • How to put your own Logo

  • Aaaaaaaah Towfiq, you are a gentleman and a scholar! 🙂

  • Great theme! Thanks.

I have question about CSS used in theme:
“.topmenu ul” have z-index:9999, which makes menu text shows over everything, including full screen images displayed by jQuery Colorbox plugin. If i remove z-index from .topmenu ul – will it broke something in theme?

  • @Biolante- No it won’t. It won’t make any difference. You can remove it if you want.

  • after changing the code to have a logo in the header, it crops the logo for some reason. sometimes when i refresh and refresh, it will be there as a whole, but only for a split second before the rest of the page moves up slightly and chops it off again…

got something to do with the header.php file… (?)

    i’m using firefox…
