Initial Release

1. How Do I add content to the slider?

A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:

A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:

pause: 2000,

To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.

Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-filemanager/

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?

A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.

4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?

A: 450px x 230px

The theme is released under GNU General Public License, version 2.

  • it gives me tis error when i search something
Call to undefined function catch_that_image() in D:\Hosting\5938128\html\wp-content\themes\epione\search.php on line 29

  • Hey how to change the settings of facebook and twitter? I know this is a stupid question but i am newbie 😀

  • @slw: That plugin is part of my comments system that I use called Disqus. It’s better than WordPress’ default plugin system because it allows people to login using Twitter, Facebook, OpenID, etc.

Also, I am experiencing the same error you get with the search function. I think it’s a problem with the theme, since I’m getting the same error. Hopefully we’ll see an update, love this theme!

  • @RK Adventures: Go into your WordPress Dashboard and in your themes section, there is a section called Epione Options. You change the options there.

  • @Kelly- Tagline has been disabled in this theme. Taglin looks bad in this theme, trust me. 😉

    • Ahhh Towfig i. I was hoping to be able to put a tagline in the header section 🙁 Is there any other way to insert a smaller font text line along with the site title and the logo?

      Please and thank you!:-)

  • @slw- Congratulation! You just found a valid bug, I will squash it in the next version.
