1. How Do I add content to the slider?

A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:

A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:

pause: 2000,

To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.

Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-filemanager/

 

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?

A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.

 

4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?

A: 450px x 230px

    Was wondering if im putting images into my posts, when uploading them it has the gray border, and the photo text you cant see unless you highlight, any way to possibly change the color of the border or font?

    Hi.

    First of all, I’ve tried plenty of templates but yours is brilliant. Simple but sleek with plenty of functionality.

    Congratulations!

    Anyways my question is: If a post is created with no image, is there a way to get rid of the default photo, and increase the width of the post text to 100% of the post wrapper?

      Go to Appearance> Editor and select front-page.php from right and remove these lines:

                      post_content;
				$searchimages = '~]* />~';				
				preg_match_all( $searchimages, $content, $pics );
				
				$iNumberOfPics = count($pics[0]);
				if ( $iNumberOfPics > 0 ) { ?>

      and then select stylesheet from right and add these lines at the very bottom:

      .post_content {width:620px!important;}
h2.postitle {width:620px!important;}

      what number did you change it to? Are you using any cache plugin?

      Hey,
      I’m having an issue with the slider as well. I’m using the “Free Javascript Editor” to change the speed to 5000. I compress it back to a rar file and try to upload it to get an error “PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT”.

    If you dont mind, I have another question…IN the SLIDER, is it possible to show random posts from differente categories? And if the answer is yes, can we label somehow the posts to allow people know what category is being shown in it?

      Thank you, but it did not work. With the code you told me to replace now I get this error:

      Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/estacion/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/epione/front-page.php on line 12

      And if I try to go back to the original code, now I get this:

      Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’ in /home/estacion/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/epione/front-page.php on line 15
