1. How Do I add content to the slider?
A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:
A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:
pause: 2000,
To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.
Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?
A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.
4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?
A: 450px x 230px

Love the look/layout very easy to install.. I just have one glitch and it may be my host/server… but on individual posts ~ when i click the share on facebook tab I get and odd “You may use these HTML tags and attributes:” in the link description on the facebook post to profile page.

I’ve tried putting the photo in the post in different alignment, before and after the text… not sure what is giving me the “You may use these HTML tags and attributes:” on some posts?

The FB share button is working fine..
yes, it does work fine on the second link, that’s my problem… it works fine on some like the ?p=39, but on others like the ?p=394, it doesn’t work correctly. And I can’t figure out what the difference is. It seems to work on about half the posts.

The slider and dropdown menus are just not working for me across multiple browser applications. I’ve turned off the dropdown, but is there a way to turn off the slider entirely?
I’m also interested in turning off the excerpt piece on the home page, so that it shows a full entry.
Many apologies if this is a duplicate question, but I’ve tried going through the comments and don’t see it…

some of the javasript text are replaced by weird symbols. Thats why the submenus are not working.
Download this wordpress plugin and install it.

After installing the plugin Go to File Manager> Configuration and Check the
“Allow Edit Option”
Now Click on Filemanager and go to wp-content / themes / Epione / js /
and click on the edit button next to other.js file.
Find these lines:

It’s ok, I figured it out. There’s a bug in the edit menu. If you try to do anything (hide social media buttons, change the colour of the layout, etc) the slider stops working. In order to fix it you have to hit reset. :S Strange…

Jessie, did Towfiq ended up helping you with the compatibilty problem? I went through out the whole comments list, but no one else seems to notice that in IE and in Firefox, the slider messes the whole design/layout, right?
Did you find a solution? I would love if you could help me, cause Towfiq seems to be to busy.
If this amazing theme wont work with another explorers, then it is not that amazing right?

Hey so I love everything about your theme but is there any way to expand the posts like a normal wordpress theme. and I would like to have the slider just show pics full size not the posts. so is any of this possible

And btw… How do you get the theme to show “capitals letters”? Like = L instead of l
I’m having some trouble with the featured image working, but the thumbnail next to the excerpt below, not showing up..
I’ve tried to enable “Featured image upload” as right now (from fresh install) there is no featured image uploader option in new post.
Some work, and some dont..
Is there a list of Custom Field’s so I can define each image (featured and thumbnail) or is there some other workaround for this?

the current version doesn’t support Featured Thumbnail. There is a workaround however. Follow these steps to display the featured thumbnail.
