1. How Do I add content to the slider?
A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:
A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:
pause: 2000,
To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.
Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?
A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.
4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?
A: 450px x 230px

Towfiq, thanks again for your great support with this theme. I am having two big issues with my customized version and I am just completely stuck – I’m hoping you might be able to help:
1. I expanded the width of the image in the slider and also changed the sframe to be just a border overlay rather than an image. However, no matter what I do now, the bottom border of the sframe rectangle will not show up. Did I screw something up by widening it? It is a javascript issue? I’ve racked my brain and tried lots of things with no luck.
2. I want the bottom part of the page (encompassing the content and sidebar) to have a repeating-y blue background with shadowed edges. My problem is that the background height behind content and sidebar don’t match up due to the varying amounts of content. I tried to do a container div around both content and sidebar for the entire background width, but it didn’t work. How can I make the blue background with shadows on each side as tall as the page’s tallest content?

1. Try giving the height of the sframe 207px;
2. Wrap both div #home_content and #sidebar with a div and give the div your background.

1. Fixed – why on earth did I not notice my height was that off?
2. In which file should I wrap the #home_content and #sidebar divs with the container divs? I’ve tried to do that in different combinations of index.php, front-page.php, and sidebar.php with no success. I’m sure I’m just missing something here, too.
try it on front-page and index.php. Make sure you put
just above
and put the close tag after the
closing tag.
Sorry, I haven’t had a chance to write about my progress. I added the container div in the front-page.php file (index.php does not have #home_content).
The container image only seems to show up when I use position:absolute, but then half of the post content and most of the sidebar content doesn’t show up, and the footer moves to the middle of the page. I get really confused about positioning so I can’t seem to reconcile the need for the background image to show up with the need for relative positioning to order the page correctly. What can fix this?

Hey. I just wanted to ask, please please help me change the width of the page. I removed the sidebar and now there is empty space on the right where sidebar used to be.
Menu and header are both about 960px wide.
The page, post, comments etc are all about 660 px wide.
Where and what must I change so I get the same width for the page and post like the header and menu is?
Probobly in style.css but where and what I exactly should I change please help.

This is more complex than you think. If you give the page, post, comments width 960px the won’t look good because the the background image of their width is 660px. So, if you give them the width of 960px their boxes will only have half background.
OK I can solve the background problem later I guess – could you just tell me which parameters must I set to 960px?
Basically what I want is no sidebar I will not use it and use the same width for everything – 960px looks fine. What must I change? Just width or some margins? Where exactly – could you point out..

hello, i’ve gone through the instructions on your post (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-put-your-own-logo-on-the-header-tutorial?replies=1) for some reason my site now has ‘just another wordpress blog’ in the title, the logo seems to be too small even though i’ve set the pixels to about 100 high and 900 long and also the red in the menu bar has gone, what have i deleted here and how do i fix this? thanks.

I’ve been reading the comments – didn’t want to repeat a question already answered, but how do I add the tagline in a different font next to the site title? Already figured out to add my logo to the title, but can’t figure out how to add the tagline…help please!

.desc{font-family:Arial;}
change Arial to your liking.

Is there a way to edit the ‘leave a reply’ comment form? Specifically I want to remove the ’email’ field.
It is not easily achievable. It is not recommended too. If you disable it you will be busy spending time with spams people leave you.
I am very new to wordpress and know nothing about coding. I tried to add a search field into this template from online advice. The code placed the search box in a bad location so I deleted it. now this is what I see when I load the site – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/01/6870601/html/wp-content/themes/epione/header.php on line 73. Is there anything I can do to fix this without losing all of my content? The site is http://www.flexfitnessforyou.com.

I just reloded the header php folder and it fixed itself and I didnt lose content, thank god.
I am not able to locate the js folders through wordpress to change the slider speed. Does this have to be change and then uploaded?

Love this theme, thanks. My Sub-menus are not dropping down 2 of the 3 on the site should show drop down i shifted them to the right of their parent page on the menu options page. http://www.mywowlevelingguideblog.com I can change the order the top menu shows up as but when I hover over the drop downs dont work. what am I doing wrong?
Maybe you are forgetting to click the”Save Menu” button after shifting them to right..
Just checked you site;s code, looks like the javascript is not loading properly because of the form widget you are using.
Is there a way to keep my opt in box and make the javascript work??
