1. How Do I add content to the slider?
A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:
A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:
pause: 2000,
To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.
Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?
A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.
4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?
A: 450px x 230px

The theme is released under GNU General Public License, version 2.
Great theme. However I am unable to change the Slider Posts Count from 3. If I change it and click save it goes back to the default of 3.
In addition, my slider items are displaying vertically instead of properly displaying in the slider.

Is there any reason why I should not be able to put a solid color background behind the #menu div? It is refusing to be anything but transparent in my customized version (I’ve tried changing it through the skin’s css as well as the main style.css).

It’s linked on my name this time. It’s very much under construction currently, as you can see (apologies). I would like the #menu div’s background to be white.
Find #menu
and change the background to
background:#fff;
Thanks for the reply, however, I’ve tried that several different times with no success, which is why I’m stumped. I’ve even tried giving it an image background but that won’t take either. Any other suggestions or ideas welcome.
Are you clicking on the “Update File” at the bottom of the page after making the necessary edits?
In essence, yes. I haven’t been making the changes in WordPress but instead editing the CSS locally and uploading the new file through http://FTP.But if I go in to the editor in WordPress or view the source file, it shows the #menu as having a white (#fff) background like you suggested – but it doesn’t actually take effect. This is driving me up a wall….

Hi! Thanks for this wonderful theme.
In one post I have a video (embedded with flowplayer FLV), and that post doesn’t have a picture neither in the slider nor in the main page advance of the post. (It’s a generic pic with a camera and a photo).
I wonder if there’s a way of creating and showing a pre-rendered image or something to show in each one of these posts that have an embedded video, instead of the generic pic.
I’ll take my time to generate a thumbnail for every single post that has an embedded video, but how to put that image without making it visible to the readers of the post (so that they only can see the video and the text of the post).

Hello, thanks so much for creating this template. I have littlr background on html and creating a site, but decided to give it a try. I’m having a few issues.
1. The subcategories are drop down and being shown when you firtst get to me homepage, how do I get rid of that?
2. I would like to add my tagline, and logo to the header of my webpage, how do I do that?
3. I would also like to change the case of the words(i.e. uppercase, etc.) how do I make this change?
4. I added a find me on fb widget, but unsure how to change the link so that it goes to my fan fb page and not my personal page, please help.
Please advise on my issues above, I hope that you can help!!

1. I am not sure what you are talking about.
2. GO to Appearance> Editor and click on stylesheet from right and find
.desc {color: #444444;display: none;font-size: 12px;font-style: italic;margin-left: 50px;margin-top: 5px;text-shadow: 0 0 2px #000000;text-transform: lowercase;
}
and replace it with:
.desc {color: #444444;display: none;font-size: 12px;font-style: italic;margin-left: 50px;margin-top: 15px;text-shadow: 0 0 2px #000000;text-transform: normal;float:left;
}
3. In the editor find all the word “lowercase” and change them to “normal”
4. just put the link of you facebook fan page in the “facebook ur Field” which is located in the “Epione Options”

I have to admit this is the best template i have come across in a long time but there are a few things that i just can’t seem to be able to find a solution to.
1) Is there a way to add a pages option on the bottom of the page, something that allows users to select the pages instead of clicking earlier posts etc.. My old theme had a plugin that I could activate and it just worked but I’m finding it hard to find any that work with this theme.
2) The ShareThis plugin has a mind of its own, all of a sudden it decides to stop working on the blog, initially when it was fine it now just does not appear on any of the posts or the front page. I’ve tried deleting the plugin, re-activacting it to no avail.
Help!!

How can i remove the popular posts section from my right side nav?
Go to Appearance> Editor and click on the sidebar.php from right.
Now remove this line from the editor:
and hit the “Update File” button.
