Initial Release

1. How Do I add content to the slider?

A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:

A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:

pause: 2000,

To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.

Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-filemanager/

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?

A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.

4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?

A: 450px x 230px

The theme is released under GNU General Public License, version 2.

  • How to add news to slider?

  • Towfiq I.,

I’m using the theme Epione 1.4, but at my slider i can’t add an featured image, can you tell me what to do

    Thank you,
    Jeroen

    • To add slides o the slider simply create posts with featured image and select the category from the Epione options to select from which category you want your slider to grab posts from.

    • Thank you!

  • Thanks for your help so far,

The next thing I can’t fix is the Featured image in the slider, it is working but the problem is that is stretchets the image and that doesn’t look good.

    Thanks again,
    Jeroen

    • make sure the images you upload has the width of 450 px and height of 230 px.

  • Hello There Towfiq,
I am Using Version 1.4 and i was wondering if its possible to show the slider on a single page which i am using as the front page instead of the post at the front

    • Download this file:
      http://fileden.com/files/2007/3/2/840217//page-slider.zip

Extract it and you will get a page-slider.php file. upload it to your “Epione” theme folder, then from the admin panel edit the page that you are using as the homepage. On the right side of the post editor you will find “Page Attributes” box. Change the page template to “Page with Slider”

  • How do I make the front page a static front page, I don’t want
posts, just a page. I want to do this and keep the sliders.

    • Go to Settings> General and you will find the option to setup a static page as your homepage.

    • But when i do that the slider dissappears

  • How do I set up a static front page, but retain the slider in the latout?

  • Hi! How can I increase the size of the social network buttons on top of the page, and the ones below the post? Especially the ones below the posts:)

    Thanks for your help!

    • Sorry Gayle, you can’t since they are images.
