1. How Do I add content to the slider?
A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:
A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:
pause: 2000,
To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.
Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?
A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.
4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?
A: 450px x 230px

Hey again – I’ve noticed that when I insert an image into some text, there is no buffer between the image and the text starting. I am guessing this just needs a little tweak in the CSS, but as I’m not particularly tech savvy, I was wondering if you could tell me how to do this! Thanks again for a great template.

Here comes the ‘but’… is there a way to set up a page, which is basically a feed of a specific category of posts?
Eg – a Portfolio page, which pulls through thumbs and titles of all Posts in the Latest Work category?

Download this file and put it in the Epione folder. Then go to Appearance> Editor and select “page-template.php” fle from right and find this : cat=1
and change the number “1” to your category number. After that click the “Update File” button below.
To assign this template create a new page and left to post editor there is a box called “Templates” assign “Latest Work” from the dropdown and create the page.

Hi. Me again. So in viewing the epione demo I see horizontal page tabs that have dropdown to categories. This is what I’ve been trying to do!
How do I get the dropdowns to work?
Is there a way to use the side bar just for archives?
And lastly, as my homepage is static, how can I get the description to show above the image?

1. You will have to setup the menu manually to make the drop-down work. Here is a tutorial about setting up custom menu:

– Not sure what you are trying to say. Simply add the archive widget from Appearance> Widget and remove the other widgets?!?

Your sidebar on the left are moved to the bottom of the page and the contents are in the middle.

Hi! first of all, congrats for your theme, it looks great!
I’d love to remove the content of popular post and replace it by one of my choosen post, like if i wanted to make an add of it. WOuld this be possible?
I’ve managed to rename “popular post” but i would’nt want to make a mistake by replacing the content.

You can display posts from a certain category. Just find this line in popular.php :
and replace it with this line:
change the number 10 with your category id.

@Towfiq I. I downloaded the 1.4 theme from the 1.3 version i had and now all my posts have a features image 🙂 thank you so much!
i now have all images on post thumbnails and also on featured content slider. The only problem is that the images in the featured slider are only part of the picture and look blurry. Can you help me fix this problem?

@Towfiq I. I ended up using photoshop and i looked for the sliderimg.png image in my serve and brought the image over to see the size of image space and altered the images i wanted to be featured and i used those images and they are great quality.
I have also altered some of the colors and used my own background image.
I am still making changes lil by lil and I like the theme especially after I found your message with he updated version.

Wheni try to add a previous and next post link on this theme i couldn’t find previous_post_link() and next_post_link(). to make the changes. Is there away to do this with your theme?

There are plenty of plugins in the wordpress Plugin Directory. Unfortunately I can suggest you any plugin since I did not test the theme with any plugins. Download, install and keep testing the plugin on the theme and let me knwo if there is and issue.
I lost my menu at the top. I changed menues and nothing there.
I changed the theme to another and i could see it but all the thumbnail posts are not there.
I deleted and reinstalled the theme and every change i made was resetted and still no menu.

I was using your theme but I had to change it because i had no menu and it didn’t look good. But late last night i i tried the theme again and I saw the menu I,m thinking maybe 1 of the plugins didn’t work well with this theme. I’m glad it’s working again. Thank you for your help.
Now that I have my menu back I have some questions.

How could I change that so each individual post page will show a picture of previous and nest post?
Also at the top of this page you have an “about” button that drops down with information. Is that a widget I can add or is it html and if it is either can you help me out with it?
I saw that one of your other them had a top header/footer section with 3 widgets. Is there a way to add both a top and bottom header/footer?
