Initial Release

1. How Do I add content to the slider?

A: Go to Appearance> Epione Options> Slider and select a category for the slider.
The slider will show the latest posts from that category.
2. How-To change the slider speed:

A: You have to open up “other.js” file from your epione/js theme folder and find:

pause: 2000,

To change the speed you have to change this value to your desired need. The default is 2000 milliseconds. If you want to slow the slider down you have to increase this value and save the file.

Note: If you dont know how to open the other.js file via FTP. Use this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-filemanager/

3. The slider stopped sliding, how to fix that?

A: Its probably a plugin conflict. Disable all the plugins one by one and find out which one is causing this.

4. Whats the right dimension for the slider images?

A: 450px x 230px

The theme is released under GNU General Public License, version 2.

  • I am having problems with my slider, can I have no image on the slider and just put the headline in the middle?

Also then can I do that for the posts- get rid of that camera picture and just have my headline in the middle….

My site is http://www.druryswim.com, I think if you look at the last post I posted you will understand more what I am talking about.

Also I am having a hard time getting my images to fit perfectly in the slider- any suggestions?

    Thanks!

  • hi, i love your theme, it’s the best i have seen in a while,m y only question is, how do I fix the HUGE gap between the title and the slider? It only happens on internet explorer (i have 7).
    thanks in advanced. ;]

  • Hello, I was wondering how I can add more space (padding) around each image I add to my blog posts. The words seem to bunch up very close to the image.

Also, when I add a “caption” to each image added to a post, the text on the white border that surrounds the image is also white and does not show up unless highlighted. How can I fix this so that the caption text shows up in black against the white caption border?

Also, how can I change the blog post typeface so that it isn’t in italics and just a “regular” Arial font?

Sorry to bombard you with questions, but any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Your theme is beautiful and I love how fun and functional it is! Thank you for creating something so cool!

    • An example of the problem I’m having with images and their captions can be seen here: http://delightfullydysfunctional.com/blog/?p=363

    • Go to Appearance> Editor and click on stylesheet from right.

Add these lines in the editor:
      .wp-caption-text{ color:#111;}
      #single_content .post img, .page .postcontent img{ margin:10px;}

and your blog is already using regular arial font.

  • hi mate – I read the post above and that is exactly what Im looking to do to but I changed the code and nothing happened

Should we add the code above or replace existing code with the above? If replace, what do we replace? If add, where do we add to?

    • You have to hit the “Update File” button after editing.

  • great mate – i was being thick and added the code -w orks a treat!

Final query – Ist here a way to insert an image in the image panel on the 1st blog screen you see but when you click through you dont see the image?

  • Thank you so much, Towfiq! Much appreciated! It worked like a charm to add a border!

I was playing around with the font last night and figured out how to get rid of the lowercase and switch the font to Arial, so I was okay on that one.

One more quick question. I’m trying to increase the size of the text on the menu on the turquoise bar at the top (which has “Clips,” “Bio,” “News” etc.) I’d like to up the size of the text to about 24px or 26px. (I think it’s at 12 or 14 pix now.) I tried increasing the font size in the “Menu” portion of the stylesheet but it hasn’t gotten any bigger.

If you could let me know which section I need to go in and what to plug in, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you again for your help with the fix! This is such a great theme!

    Take care!

    • how do you change it from lowercase??

  • How do add images to the post? I am able to attach images to the slider but the post still only show the camera picture. Also, i would like to add a HOME link to the top to bring you back to the main page. Thanks

    • Ok I figured out how to add the home page, but still struggling to add images.

    • post your web address here.

  • Hi mate – I’m looking at re-organising the pages and have the following queries:

1 – the current drop down nav seems to stick when Im navigating through the site and so can seem clumsy – is there any way to stop this?
2 – If I cant stop this then Ill have look at adding more on the top nav – is there any way to increase the height of the orange bar to accommodate more links?
