1. How do I make the text of the site darker?
Go to Appearance> Editor and select “Stylesheet” from right and add this line to the very bottom:

2. Where is the Summary Field of the slider? Why don’t I see it?
A: In wordpress 3.1 the custom field option is disabled on default. To enable the custom field feature go to Posts > Add New . In the post editor page at the very top click on the “Screen Options” button. Now make sure “Custom Field” option is checked.

3. The images inside the lightbox is being stretched when viewed by Safari Browser, How do I fix this?
A: Add this line to the very bottom of your stylesheet(style.css):
#fancybox-img {height:auto!important;}

Yes, it is slow. I removed some plugins but it’s still slow. Is there something I can do? Thanks.
My website is also very very slow to load in IE. During ~10 seconds IE is not reponsive.
It works however OK with Chrome.
Any idea why it takes so long with IE?
It is because of the high resolution images..Internet explorer first loads the images then the site contents and then after loading all the content it shows the whole site. whereas other browsers load all the content together.
Try Making the resolutions of the images smaller.

hmm.. I only want to change the color like I can in Scilla.. Is this doable in Amphion Lite? This blog does not need to be super commercial, nor SEO, so an upgrade is not feasable.. But I would like to keep the layout if the color(s) are changeable…
Laurie you can only change the color of the background and text colors.
I have yet to upgrade to pro- here is why: I “set featured image” on my posts, but the image will not appear on the slider.
I also have lots of widgets that I need to have on the sidebar but they ended up appearing at the bottom of my website- which looks stupid.
I’d like to get pro but I’m concerned that these issues won’t change after spending $$ to get pro.
Can you help with these issues before I get pro?
For the sidebar issues: Try adding the small banner ad widget with the “text widget” and try giving all of them titles. without titles the sidebar messes up. and about the slider… did you use any “featured image” related plugin that might causing it?
