slider mismatchs

  Hi,
  I am working on the front page slider.
  Check it out at http://www.inwaves.it
  I decided to have 1200px on the height. (the width changes with pictures)
  But I got the following errors

  1) As you can see the point indicating the number of picture in the slider are not appearing on the picture but on a white space below …?

  2)While setting the slider, I add the slides but then after I salve the changes, I just see one slide bar on the setting page of wordpress.
  may be this is related with first problem

  Any help?

  Hi,

  so I see that if I do not put any title on the slide, then in the slider configuration
  after saving for example 5 slides I will have the 5 slides on the website but in the wordpress
  page for the slider configuration I won’t see the 5 items.

  Anyway, now I put the title and this problem is solved BUT
  as you can see the pictures of the slider have a white space below them and at the bottom of the white space
  the green point indicating the number of slides appear. I think they should appear on the picture…. isn’t it?
  How can I solve it?

  Then, in some slide, I have the title occupying 2 rows, would it be possible to keep the same font size and all the title in the same row?

  for the hight, should I write 1200px or 1200?
  Because with 1200 I get the green point on the picture but the pictures are cut.
  Since the picture height is 1200 pixels (I set it) then I guess I will have to put 1200px.
  In this case the pictures are shown completely but the green point are on outside on the white part below the images.

  Then If I put “auto”
  I get the green bottom on the images but although the picture have all 1200px heigh
  it looks like they are changed in the website
  in fact they are show with different height, I leave this settings, check it out.
  It is like they do not have same height….

  the height is changed with the screen size, along with the width. to keep the images unstretched.

  But if I fix the height to 1200px then will it be possible remore the white space below
  where the green point appear (I mean the green point showing the number of picture)
  ??

  Hi,
  I added it (you were talking in asteria CUSTOM CSS settings right ?)
  But I don’t see changes.
  the “#” at the beginning should be there or should I remove it?

  instead of selecting height 1200px. I suggest you to use “auto” as slider height option.

  I think I will stick with Auto.
  I was just sceptical with the fact that the image change size in the window
  but if it is done to keep the right proportion I guess it must stay like this.

  Hi,

  I am working on the slider and have added an image that I want to use in it. The image dimension is 720 x 486. When I look save and look at the image on the page the bottom quarter of the image is cut off visually. Is there any way of fixing it to where it will show the full image and not visually crop it?

  set your slider height to “486px” or “auto”
