Fatal error when uploading pictures

  Hi everyone,

  When I’m uploading a picture I get the following error:

  Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 29884416) (tried to allocate 6240 bytes) in /homepages/0/d219500481/htdocs/ciaoparis/blog/wp-includes/media.php on line 258

  I have searched about the problem on this forum and have only this: http://towfiqi.com/forum/topic.php?id=607#post-3672

  I have very few addons installed so far: akismet only. I have deleted all others, including SEO addons and so on…

  Any idea of what I can do?

  My suggestion is convert the image first with a image processing/editing application like photoshop and then upload the image.
